GALLERY 3 - Taspinar Carpets
These carpets come from an area in central Anatolia, south of Cappadocia. This area produces a fine wool with a silk-like quality.
As these carpets age, the lanolin in the wool rises to the surface and gives the pile a rich, velvety sheen, similar to that of a
silk carpet.
TASPINAR Carpets feature plant figures and geometric designs used simutaneously
in the carpet pattern. Vegetable dyes from this region emphasize dark rich reds and deep blues.
These are representative TASPINAR carpets that may still be in stock and may be purchased (see order details), or we have similar rugs that can be pulled. This gallery helps you to identify the 'look' that you are seeking,
so tell us what you like. We have a broad selection of colors and sizes! Please contact us with your specific requirements.
